The Building & Host

Franck, a former postman, bought this ruined building in Old Lyon in 2013 and restored it himself to open Loge Du Vieux Lyon Chambre D'Hotes. Each of the five guest rooms is called a 'loge' and sits in a classified World Heritage site with its own private bathroom, shower, and hairdryer. The building's original spiral stone staircase and a private traboule (a covered passage) are part of the structure's 500-year-old character.
